I  research people who are considered "invisible."  The abuses against them are  generally ignored, and not deemed by society worthy of consideration due to many factors (their race, ethnicity, gender, religion or any "other").  

My most works are videos dealing with misrepresented or forgotten aspects of history. I come across examples of this through various forms, usually a story written about a different subject entirely, yet this side story will capture my attention. I find surprising facets, buried away either purposefully or neglected in time through indifference. I revisit these erased moments and compare how they relate to the discourse of today. These different timelines interact with one another, with the ghost of the past haunting the actions of the present.

I use a variety of mediums: drawings made with water based markers, colored pencil, prints, paintings, and videos. I them combine many of the drawings into videos using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
